Phillip Daniel Tompkins

Phillip Daniel Tompkins passed away on June 28, 2020 at the Jester III Unit in Richmond, Texas. At the time of his death, Phillip had served 39 years of his sentence and was 66 years old. Covid-19 was a contributing factor in his death.

Phillip came from a large and supportive family in Virginia. Phillip had four brothers, nine sisters, numerous nieces and nephews, and two beautiful daughters. Phillip was preceded in death by his parents, Junius and Beatrice, and a brother William. He is survived by his daughters Charlene and Markee, his brothers Frank, Donnell, and Wayne, his sisters Delores, Marion, Wanda, Yvonne, Verna, Patricia, Cynthia, Linda, and Deanna, and many other loved ones.

It may be comforting to know that after 39 years of separation, Phillip's parents and brother were waiting with open arms to welcome him to his Heavenly Home. We wish him and his family peace.
